Occultural Writers Sought

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

Rebel Satori Press is seeking inspired new magical work.

Are you a latter-day Prometheus bringing unknown wisdom from terra incognita, the hidden land? Or are you a metaphysical archeologist uncovering the forbidden knowledge of the Elder Gods?

We’re looking for book-length works that are innovative, provocative, uninhibited and transgressive. Topics we are seeking are diverse as post-modern occulture, traditional Witchcraft, and experimental magical theory. We want works that introduce new material to the field (or a wider audience). Material should also be well written and presented.

Esoteric works drawn forth from the liminal reaches or dredged up from the underworld are not only welcomed but are aggressively encouraged.

Previously unpublished manuscripts only. Material that has been previously self-released or new editions of long out-of-print classics may be considered.

Deadline for Submissions: Open

Jason Kraley film debut, Philadelphia 9/15

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Past Ashé Cover Artist Jason Kraley has had the great honor (and sleepless/red-eyed “pleasure”) of filming and creating the Live Arts/Philly Fringe Box Office film - a second year in a row.

The film will debut for free at CLUB POLARIS (The Fringe Cabaret of 2007) located at 460 N.9th Street. Film will start approximately at midnight… but get there a little early, just in case.

FREE admission. 21+ and proper ID required. Come see my work on stage as this year’s theme is completely different from last year. Using 2 cameras, wireless mics, and a great set of actors and non-actors alike writing ideas and playing it off the cuff.

6 hours of filming, 49 hours of editing, and one hell of a tired Jason Kraley will be there. Come see the success or the disaster. You be the movie critic…

Any questions, visit www.phillyfringe.com to learn more about the Cabaret…
